Tabio Striped Camp Collar Shirt Pre-Order
This short sleeve camp collar is made from a navy striped fabric hand-woven on a pedal loom by Juan Pablo Romero in Tabio, Colombia. The texture on this fabric is very special, Juan Pablo uses about 6 different colored threads in order to create the zig-zag texture within the fabric. Juan Pablo is the first artisan we work with outside Mexico, he hand-weaves all his fabrics at his home in the town of Tabio 1 hour outside Bogota, Colombia. After graduation he decided to start weaving and has been creating textiles for over 26 years. Juan Pablo works from his living room in Colombia, the weaving process is slow so we ask for patience while waiting for these pieces as delays may occur :)
